Today’s devotion reminds us that after salvation, others will learn from us because of our experience of being in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ within us.

𝑵𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑷𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑱𝒐𝒉𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒄𝒆𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒏, 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒅; 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒕𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔.

In our previous lesson, we saw the marvellous work of God through His disciples. Peter and John healed the lame man using the name of Jesus Christ. Many people were amazed at this incredible act of the Lord. This undeniable miracle of the healing drew widespread attention and made the apostles’ work known to many.

The religious leaders were displeased and distressed because they taught and preached about Jesus and the resurrection from the dead. They seized the apostles and kept them in custody until the next day, as it was evening. However, many who heard the message believed, and the total number of men who believed was about five thousand.

Peter and his team did not retreat; they remained unstoppable in their assigned ministry. Instead of hiding from the religious leader, they spoke more boldly. The religious leader was surprised by the confidence of Peter and John, and noticing that they were untrained and ordinary men, they marveled. They recognized that these men had been with Jesus.

Yes, brethren, often we are underestimated because others see us as unlearned and ignorant. But beloved, I remind you that 🆆🅴’🆁🅴 🅽🅾🆃 🅳🅴🅵🅸🅽🅴🅳 🅱🆈 🆃🅷🅴🅸🆁 🅾🅿🅸🅽🅸🅾🅽. If there’s anyone among us who are truly wise, it’s those who have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. Remember, experiencing salvation transforms your life completely; we are new creatures in Christ Jesus.

𝔇𝔬 𝔫𝔬𝔱 𝔩𝔢𝔱 𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔢𝔯𝔰 𝔲𝔫𝔡𝔢𝔯𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔟𝔢𝔠𝔞𝔲𝔰𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝔶𝔬𝔲𝔯 𝔣𝔞𝔦𝔱𝔥 𝔦𝔫 ℭ𝔥𝔯𝔦𝔰𝔱 𝔍𝔢𝔰𝔲𝔰. Instead, demonstrate through your life how Christ has transformed you. Once saved, we are pulled out of darkness and no longer live in it. We now have light and see clearly. Those still living in darkness are hopeless unless they come to know our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Beloved brethren, we need to share with the world that Jesus saves, and let others see this in our lives because we have been with Jesus. He is the one who grants us strength, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. As the Apostle Paul states in 𝕻𝖍𝖎𝖑𝖎𝖕𝖕𝖎𝖆𝖓𝖘 𝟒:𝟏𝟑 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒅𝒐 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆.

During difficult times or seemingly unsolvable situations, people often seek our guidance on finding peace, comfort, and joy through Jesus. Having Jesus in our lives makes our lives whole—if we have Jesus, we possess everything!
