Title: Triumph over trials

John 16:33 KJV

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Life can be challenging, but through Jesus, we are not destined to be victims – we can be victorious! We can triumph over our trials. Jesus has conquered the world, and He desires to help us do the same. Being born again doesn’t mean you’re free from trouble, but it does mean you have a new Father and Friend to walk alongside you, helping you overcome in His name—claiming His victory—so you don’t have to live ‘under the circumstances.’

Trials come in many shapes, sizes, and forms. Each person’s trials are unique to them. While trials can help us grow stronger, they can also cause bitterness. Don’t waste a valuable trial by turning away from God, who is observing to see how you handle His test.

Some people tend to drift away from church during difficult times. They often say, “You don’t know what I’m going through!” However, going to church is especially important when facing trials. Some question, “Why bother going? It won’t help… just look at the trouble I’m in!” Yet, being in church can offer support and strength even in the hardest moments.

Someone might claim they’ve attempted to follow God’s way but feel it hasn’t made their life perfect. What does this imply? Are we suggesting that we only go to church to ensure everything goes smoothly? Why bother tithing if it seems to make no difference, or praying at all? What is the purpose of these actions? They are about showing devotion to God, not just about gaining personal benefits.

Anyone can praise God from the mountaintop, but God observes us in the valley. This is where we truly pass or fail the test. Instead of letting trouble’s wind blow you away from God, let it push you into His arms. In God’s embrace lies the strength of victory, and there true peace is found.
