Today’s devotion reminds us that Lord Jesus Christ is continually knocking on your heart’s door, urging you to arise, take up your bed, and walk.

In verses 2 and 3, it says, “π΅ππ πππππ ππ ππ π±ππππππππ ππ πππ πππππ ππππππ π ππππ, πππππ ππ ππππππ ππ πππ π―πππππ ππππππ π©ππππππ π, ππππππ ππππ πππππππ. π°π πππππ πππ π πππππ ππππππππ π ππ ππππππππ ππππ, ππ πππππ , ππππ, ππππππππ , πππππππ πππ πππ ππππππ ππ πππ πππππ.” ππ¨π‘π§ π:π-π describes a miracle at the pool of Bethesda, offering several lessons for us today. In this story, Jesus approaches a man who is impotent. A waiting crowd hopes for healing, much like many today who are suffering and seeking help. They anticipate that when the angel stirs the water, it will bring relief from their troubles.
How the troubled world today turns to various movements, political and social, to heal its suffering state! In this desperate situation, there is the wonderful Master who stood beside the crippled man and asked, βππππ ππππ ππ ππππ πππππ?β (ππ¨π‘π§ π:π). Jesus alone knew what the crippled man truly needed.
We are beset with various difficulties, problems, and issues in life, and individuals consistently seek solutions to their challenges. In truth, this world resembles a vast pool of Bethesda, with numerous powerless souls awaiting divine intervention, whereas what they truly require is the Messiah. Will you guide someone toward Jesus today? Today, churches have become distracted by their personal interests and self-centered desires. It is imperative that we awaken to this reality.
Let us go and preach the gospel!
