Lord Jesus Christ teaches His disciples the importance of serving others. This doesn’t mean we have to wash everyone’s feet; rather, it emphasizes having a servant’s heart. Christ served humanity by becoming a sacrifice, a substitute, and a Saviour. While the world claims happiness comes from being served by others, Jesus teaches that true happiness comes from serving others.

Our Lord Jesus Christ exemplifies the way to live for us. He set an example to follow in his footsteps (𝟏 𝐏𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟐:𝟐𝟏). We are called to walk as He did (𝟏 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟐:𝟔). Jesus faced all the same challenges as us. He was tempted in every way, just like us, yet he did not sin (𝐇𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝟒:𝟏𝟓). He overcame every obstacle. By following his example, we too can triumph over difficult situations.

How did Jesus handle satanic attacks and confront His enemies like the Scribes and Pharisees? How did He respond to false accusations and handle betrayal? His approach was to fully trust and depend on His Heavenly Father. He applied God’s Word to His personal circumstances, maintained a strong and consistent prayer life, and walked in the power of the Holy Spirit. We should face our problems and challenges in the same manner—by placing complete trust and reliance on God.

Let the Bible steer us through any challenges we encounter… Maintain a strong relationship with God through prayer… and live fully in the Spirit. No problem is beyond a Christian’s ability to overcome when following Jesus’ example. Are you walking in His footsteps?
