The word “🅼🆈” is a possessive adjective pronoun. The Lord Jesus Christ clearly stated that every believer, like you and me, belongs to Him. As His sheep, we hear, obey, and follow His voice. This message is very comforting because, by following the Good Shepherd, His promise ensures complete protection, especially regarding Eternal Life, which is freely offered to all who believe in His Gospel. Our eternal security is guaranteed because Jesus is the Son of God.

The good shepherd cares for the sheep in ways no one else can. Sheep cannot tend to each other, and the hireling is only driven by a pay-check. Thieves come to steal, kill, and destroy. One of the most profound truths about Jesus is that He does for us what no one else can. Only He can fulfill your heart, resolve your mental struggles, or provide the truth about life after death. He is the only one who can transform a life trapped in conflict and strife, bringing salvation and deliverance.

Only Jesus truly loved us enough to sacrifice His life for us. Salvation is free for us and available through faith. However, for the Lord Jesus Christ, salvation came at a great cost. The Lord Jesus Christ worked for our benefit so that we could live life to the fullest, experiencing joy, peace, and fellowship. Our hearts should be filled with gratitude for Jesus, our Good Shepherd.
